New Billing Software- Your water bills will look different beginning October 1, 2026

New Water Billing Software

The City has implemented new water billing software, and new water bills will go out tomorrow, October 1, 2026.

As with any new system, there may be a few bugs or issues that need to be worked out.

Online billing through the City’s website will not be available for a few days. We are working to get the online billing system back up and running and are hopeful that it will be available by the weekend. We appreciate your patience while we complete this transition.

Please note:

There has been no change to water rates.

There has been no change to the billing date.

There has been no change to the payment due date.

If you are currently signed up for automatic payment through the City, your payment will continue to be processed as usual, generally around the 10th of each month. If you would like to sign up for this free automatic payment service, please contact City Hall for more information.

The City will also be working toward offering paperless billing. If you are interested in receiving your bills electronically, please email cityofdelavan@delavanilpolice.com or stop by the City office.

If you have any questions or concerns about your new water bill, please contact City Hall. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we make this transition to our new billing system.
