Public Notice- Sale of Surplus Property

PUBLIC NOTICE
CITY OF DELAVAN, ILLINOIS
NOTICE OF SALE OF SURPLUS PROPERTY

Notice is hereby given that the City of Delavan, Illinois, will receive sealed bids for the sale of surplus property, to be sold as-is, where-is, with no warranties expressed or implied. The property offered for sale includes:

• Two (2) 1990’s Homelite 4400 watt generators – non-running condition
• One (1) Stihl handheld concrete saw – non-running condition
• One (1) Target mini concrete saw (1980’s) – non-running condition
• One (1) 1973 2x4 trailer – scrap condition

Bidding Structure:
All items shall be sold as one (1) item. No bids as a lot will be accepted.

Sealed bids will be received at Delavan City Hall, 219 S. Locust Street, Delavan, Illinois, until 3:00 p.m. on April 20, at which time no further bids will be accepted.

All bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Surplus Equipment Bid.”

The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding process.

The successful bidder shall be responsible for all removal and transportation of the awarded property within seven (7) days of award unless otherwise approved by the City.

Awards will be made at a duly scheduled meeting of the Delavan City Council.
